Hello Maggie 69, I have unrelenting fatigue since starting Benepali and also just started with a sore mouth on the roof, have you? I have so far had 2 injections how many have you had? I am hoping this fatigue does wear off soon. Take care

I am on my 5 th one tomorrow but not on steroids as the consultant would not let me take them, even though I asked too. I think the Benepali is working as am not in as much pain and the fatigue is lessoning. My hands are still very stiff and swollen in the morning. How you doing? Take care 🙂

5mg per week of prednisolone is a lot to reduce by! This could easily link to extreme fatigue- your body has to catch up. Talk to rheumatoid team. I have reduced by max of 2.5mg per fortnight and below 5mg took 1mg per month!

I also take Benepali- Now 4 months in and feeling so much more able. My fatigue also linked to long covid over about 7 months also much reduced.

My advice is ALWAYS try to talk to Biologics nurse specialist if possible during medication issues.

Good luck xx

you did well to reduce your pred by that amount. Once I was down to 10 mg I was reducing by .5mg alternate days for 2 weeks then each day for 4 weeks then back to .5mg alt days. I eventually had to stop reducing once I got to 3.5 mg I couldn’t go any further. Currently reviewing my drugs and returning my MTX back up to original levels.
