Dont know how old your child is, But from experience child has too have control this will promote pride and self esteeme. Must work inconjunction with school IEPlan. FASD Children

love school allways want too please, but when home some are on meltdown result of imput

they put in at school ,can at times overload them presenting problems at home.

With ours they had a Mill board which they wrote on " Things to do today " teachers

and the child all had an imput on this and on the back was space for the child too write their

feelings, questions and Things i could make better ?? all this helps them too be incontrol and

help there short term memory. Remember my girl doing Anatomy and phsyology NVQ3 they

were good we all were walking around the house for months half naked with labels on our

limbs words such as Obliqus major, serratus magnus, on the day of her final assesment her

long term memory kicked in ( fasd children have excellent long term memory) and she passed. Home work has too be broaken down into small sections it will take them much longer

too learn but this is how it is.
