I also have been battling with Bells palsy for 12.5 months now. I'm able to blink my eye slowly and look some what like I use to at rest. Smiling and laughing my face is not balanced and my eye closes often. I have tried acupuncture and liver cleanse. Looking for new ideas and hope

So sorry to hear that you are suffering from bells. I urge you to seek early treatment as soon as possible as you will have a better chance of recovery. Get your doctor to refer you to a specialist/neurologist and facial physiotherapy. There are options for you to get your face back with minimum sequels. I suffered from bells ten years ago but my treatment proactive enough. Don’t give up.

All the best
