Hello , wondering if anyone out there has used any sort of muscle relaxant for those over tight muscles at anytime? . And if so had it helped? .. Mine can play up more when stressed .. 😏 xx

Hi Julie, many people have Botox injections to help with the tightness. There is more information on our website here: facialpalsy.org.uk/advice/m...

Thank you for you reply ... I've been receiving Botox treatment for the last 16 months or so ... I found it to be very useful.and worked very well in aiding my recovery ..although I was told very early on , that it can go one way or the other .. This time I think it was completely off target as it tightened up considerably much more than before the appointment .i think I've just been unlucky this time ..I've been longing for the 3 months to hurry up lol do the treatment wears off .. Which is only a few weeks away .. I'm going to give it a rest for a period of time and let Mother Nature take its course .and as much as I've had much relieve from the Botox , I feel it also slows you up to some degree .. As well as helping .. I hope this will make sense .. But it does restict move movement to a certain extent .. While it does one thing.. I feel it also does another ... I take magnesium too . I think that helps with the relaxation of the muscles.... But also read up that you can take medication to help .. 😊xx
