We know it can take a lot of change to start including different physical activity into your life and at first it may feel hard and unfair, but seeing your progress on EXi and more importantly in yourself will make a world of difference.

Being active may help you to gain the independence needed to carry out small tasks and we’re right here to support you on this new or old life path of yours.

Today we want to highlight why EXi prescribes physical activity for you if you’ve had a stroke. Last month was Stroke Awareness month run by @thestrokeassociation - we wanted to keep the conversation going. Mood change can have an effect on recovery and with EXi you can start logging your mood to keep on top of any concerns - just make sure to highlight this as one of your goals. You can also log any pain, joint stiffness or fatigue and use the exercise prescription for gradual muscle strength conditioning. Being active is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your health, especially after a stroke.
