Hi everyone! I had the embryo transfer yesterday and was absolutely fine afterwards but I started having bad stomach cramps which were particularly bad in the night. I've woken up this morning and I'm still in a bit of pain- has anyone else had this? I'm now really worried that the embryo wouldn't have taken X

This pain has now subsided but I'm having pain in my right shoulder now. Am probably just worrying over stupid things but this waiting until next week for the blood test is taking forever. Every little ache and pain is making me worry or question what's happening in there!!

Dear yllek - sorry for the slow reply. Have you spoken to your GP or your specialist to check if it might be some kind of referral pain?

Thanks for your reply. I spoke to the nurse and she just said to keep an eye on it.

Well don't be afraid to check to put your mind at rest. However, there doesn't seem to be much discussion about referral pain with IVF but it might be completely unrelated but important so do keep an eye on it and good luck.
