concern over teachers who refuse toilet access.

seen this on an article.

My 12 year old son was left crying in Spanish class after being refused to go to the toilet as he couldn't go in break because the que for the toilet was too long for the only toilet unlocked during break time. Yes that's right ALL TOILETS ARE LOCKED THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL they unlock one block with 3 toilets at break time. So did not learn anything in class because of the pain he was in, another student got up to console him, she was told to sit down or she would be given a detention.

I asked why they are refusing to allow children to go to the toilet, it's because of other children vaping and smoking and skipping classes in toilets. They also said they are trying to condition the children to be able to control themselves and only go at break times.

I find this very concerning that this still happens in 2022.

that is appalling. If school won,t do anything go to the governors or your local authority.

They should also give him a toilet pass. You can't penalise all the children that need the toilet for the few miscreants.Which county do you live in?
