Who do you ask first if you have queries about epilepsy treatment? e.g. Your neurologist, GP, nurse, pharmacist, family, friends, forums?

It depends on the query. I've found various sites useful, eg. NSE, Epilepsy Action, ILEA, Epilepsy Foundation and googling the subject in general. I'll always check with my neuro when my next appointment is due.

I get to see my Neuro every 6 months and getting a Drs appointment is hit and miss, the Epi nurse has been of use but usually I get answers from the Epilepsy Society Forum site.Till I found this site I felt alone and bewilderd.

It all depends on the query. I usually do a Google search to find out more relative information. If need be, then a doctor's visit is made. I go for a regular check up once a month to receive medication from a local Govt. Hospital.

I always do Google searching... Have just relocated so new under the GP and Government Hospital system here... Am hoping for review on my epilepsy.
