Does anyone else find their seizures get worse due to reducing sugar on a diet? desperately trying to lose weight and my hubby has now insisted i have sugar in my tea in the day as my seizures get worse when I'm eating healthier

Only just seen your post as am new to the site and can't access internet easily. Regarding sugar could your blood sugar be getting a bit low, am not sure where I read this but I remember this being mentioned regarding seizure, don't quote me and I am not a professional, best to check with your health care people, especially an epilepsy nurse. might be something on the Epilepsy Foundation website? Also maybe ask for some support from a nutritionist via GP?

Best of luck
