My son suffered febrile convulsions from age 1 to 7, having around 8 in this time, he has never been tested for epilepsy, although there is a family history of it, Today he collapsed in a convulsion at work aged 23 years, he was rushed to hospital who said it was a febrile convulsion again, is it possible in adults?

Hi
My understanding of febrile is used to describe illness due to fever.
There are many reasons people have seizures or convulse - fever is one reason.
I hope the Dr reassured you at the time or the GP afterwards.
Take care xx
