Lamotrigine

I'm on the TEVA lamotrigine at the moment but its ceasing manufacturing. The generic lamital gives me stomach cramps. The doctor nor the pharmacy have mentioned any of this. Please what do I do now? Is there something else out there ?? Thankyou

Daughter takes the ACCORD brand of Lamotrigine and has no side effects whatsoever. Her GP has this brand clearly on her notes and the pharmacy always order in this brand.

Do be careful as switching brands may make you more susceptible to a seizure.

I would raise the issue with your pharmacy who dispenses the medication as they should be in position to advise OR speak to your neurologist. Best of luck.
