I'm 17 and just got identified with epilepsy.

I am at a loss. I had an EEG a couple weeks ago because I had 2 notable 2 minute seizures where I lost consciousness and had spasms over the last 3 years. according to my EEG it is highly likely I can seize again and have been. How do I identify when I've seized? I'm supposed to keep a log of any times that could be instances of seizures.. but I can't personally remember anything. does anyone have any advice on if there's types I can remember or how to find out if I have had others? I want to be on medication so I am not in danger because I also have POTS syndrome so I am more likely to lose consciousness overall.

Hi Lemuri

Thank you for your post. Many people are not aware of having a seizure unless someone witnesses it. The only other way is if you have symptoms after a seizure. We explain these symptoms on our webpage tonic- clonic and focal seizures.
