since being diagnosed with epilepsy(on meds) and a heart condition in a month, i've noticed that my moods are all over the place, familiar??

Very familiarindeed!!!. After being diagnosed with epilepsy and taking carbamazepine I now also have to take an anti-depressant - sertraline. Its working well and my moods are much more stable. My GP said depression is very common in those with epilepsy and can often be a form known as IDD. I advise talking to your GP if your mood swings are bothering you but rest assured you are certainly not alone with this symptom.
