Ancient folklore said that to cure epileptic seizures one must eat the dark coloured middle flower of Queen Anne's Lace. Is this true?

Regret, I haven't heard of this before and wouldn't try it myself... Maybe do some more research before you go ahead and eat it.
No it is nonsense
I have also heard of this, but I wouldn't trust it. Also, there is a very similar looking plant which can be toxic so I think I would best to abort the idea! x
There is a possibility that it has some chemical in it that is itself (or is similar to a chemical) in an AED. The first "modern" medications were developed by extracting and concentrating chemicals from folk remedies.
However, this possibility is very slim. Most "traditional" or "herbal" remedies are placebos at best, and lets not forget that things like lead and mercury used to be used copiously to "cure" illnesses!!!
