Ruptured ovarian cyst pain

Hi does anyone know how long it takes for the pain to go away after suffering a ruptured cyst ?? Thanks

Yes i had severe pain in my right side from last thursday.. it was coming on and off though it wasnt constant, ended up in a&e saturday because i couldnt take it no more plus i was super worried, i was reffered for a scan at hospital monday afternoon, they told me all looks healthy but the pain is coming from a ruptured cyst!! Ive had this goddam pain for nearly a week i dnt think i can take it anymore honestly its awful.. when it comes on dont i know it 😥😥😥 do u think i should speak to my gp about this pain .. im still in pain n no more forward than i was thurs ... i still have no answers of why ive gt secoundary infertility .. ive had kids but just cant get pregnant !! Help xx

Oh I’m so sorry to hear your going through this it’s awful, I’ve not had a ruptured cyst my self but heard they are painful, I would speak to your GP seek there advice...have you ever been seen by a gynaecologist ? Xx

Hi .. yes i seen one on monday he said that everything was healthy .. he mentioned the cyst im goin to call my doctors in the morning if it doesnt go away the pain ... its a nightmare n so uncomfortable xxx

Yes I would just keep at them as you can be left in that pain have they given you any pain relief? Xx

Hiya no they said to take paracetamol or ibruprofen ...its painful tho because il be getting on with my day the pain will come on suddenly and il hunch over in pain it only lasts couple secounds if it was constant ide be visiting a&e..... yeh im goin to call them tomrw as with my doctors you have to phone at 8am to make an appt then that takes an hr to get through😠then when u do get through therez no appointments left ... nightmare nhs for you.... thankyou for replying it means alot to talk to someone about it .. 😊xxx

What awful advice if they know it to be painful probably needing stronger pain relief, yeh if gets worse ring 111 see what they say maybe then can get you out of hours appointment if it’s too much! 😢no problem I would hate for someone to be alone through all of this and here anytime for a chat.
