Ovarian cyst pain

Hi i need to ask some advice .. since yesterday ive been suffering from reacurring sharp pain in my lower right stomach which is very painful it only lasts bout 2/3 secs then goes off then comes back after about 30mins.. does anyone have any idea what it could be and what i can do to help ease this please i spoke to a doctor today n he wasnt botherd tbh he just said "must be muscle pain!!" I know my body its not muscle pain .. please help girls im really worried and got no one to ask for advice .. thankyou 💟

Hi Cheryl there are many possible reasons for pelvic pain but a cyst cannot be ruled out. I had lower right pelvic pain which steadily worsened alongside extremely heavy periods and mine turned out to be an endometrioma or chocolate cyst which required surgery. Keep a diary of your pain and any other symptoms and if it persists push for a scan or further investigation. Good luck

Hello thankyou for ur reply 😊 ... yes im keeping watch of it.. i went for a scan bt 2 years ago now because i was suffering from heavy irregular bleeding.. they told me i had cysts on my ovaries, thickening 1 side of my womb and also mentioned endo too... im goin to contact another doc come monday if the pain doesnt go away or gets worse.. it just suddenly comes on then goes off but its awful the pain if it was constant i think ide be visiting the hospital ... but thankyou so much for your advice i appreciate it as ive got no one to talk to about it and the doctor i spoke to yesterday over the phone wasnt at all botherd so think 2nd opinion needed..thanks again 💖😊
