Early Pregnancy- Painful Cramps

I'm just over 5 weeks pregnant, and have started getting belly cramps this week. I have had several surgeries with Endo lasered from my all around my womb and womb ligaments. I woke up last night with severe cramps, they calmed down pretty quickly. Just wondering if anyone else with Endo who is pregnant is suffering with cramps? Is it likely to be like this the whole way through my pregnancy? Am i likely to have scar tissue on my womb from the Endo and it's being stretched causing me pain?

Hey I got cramps quite early on in my pregnancy but I’m not 14wks and they’ve mostly disappeared. I do get the odd twinge but nothing major- my midwife also said as long as ure not bleeding and it’s not excruciating then it’s ok 🤷🏽‍♀️ Hope it all goes well for u x

Morning sweet,

I had a very sensitive abdo area throughout all 3 of my pregnancies. Severe back & abdo cramps were big symptoms in the early weeks.

Right throughout, I couldn't wear any trousers that sat beneath my bump because they triggered tightenings & I had to wear over-bump trousers that were loose enough to not cause the same symptoms. Oversized, baggy, ugly nighties became my best friends 😅

As previous reply states, so long as you're not bleeding or in agony, then it's something you have to ride with - hot water bottle on your back & wheat warmer on your front might be helpful for you, I know they were for me, every time.

Xx

I'm having the same problem with trousers atm, I only have a couple of pairs that i'm finding comfortable atm. I had some extreme stomach cramps a couple of days ago, went to A&E today and had an early scan today. Which showed everything looks fine :) even managed to see a heartbeat which was reassuring.
