Hiya new to this forum, just wanted to know if anyone else story is similar!
Been trying to get diagnosed for 4 and half years now. I’m only 19 but have had issues since I was 15 and symptoms of endo since, had a burst ovarian cyst at 15 and they thought it may be endo then but was too young to even begin investing and now still effecting me to this day. Got the doctors in the morning after a clear TVS, just want some answers to the pain I’m in constantly and why I look like I’m 6 months pregnant all the time! So frustrating and really started to get me down, effected in ways I couldn’t imagine
Hopefully I get a referral to a gynaecologist they might be able to give me some reassurance and give me some help x

Feel like I was in the same situation as you. I’m 21 now and got diagnosed when I was 19. Since I started my period at 13 I’ve always had lots of pain and been really heavy. I went to the doctors when I was 16 and started the pill but months later I went back COs it just didn’t help. My doctor sent me for a scan and discussed possible endo but when my scan came back clear she wouldn’t refer me on and just constantly switched up my pill. It wasn’t until I was 19 and ended up getting a new doctor that she was like it all points to endo and referred me on. Even when I had my lap to diagnose endo the anaesthetist said I was too young to have it. If you’re doctor won’t refer you definitely speak to another one and push for that referral. Hope your phone call goes well. My inbox is always open if you want to talk x
