Hi,

Sorry to hear you’re feeling like this.

I’ve experienced these type of symptoms when in medications, but only because it was a reaction to one of the fillers in the tablet, not the actual active ingredient.

I saw someone post something similar in the past couple of days, maybe try searching through the recent posts?

Hope you get some answers soon x

Hello Boodie,

Palpitations and muscle weakness (jelly legs) are known side effects of GnRH Analogues like Prostap / Zoladex / Decapeptyl. Which one are you on?

You can download the Special Product Characterists (SmPC) for any UK drug from this website: Medicines.org.uk. The guidance available on this site is provided by the drug manufacturers in compliance with UK laws.

Palpitations and muscle weakness are side effects that should be monitored while you are on these drugs so I’d recommend you print off the SmPC for the drug you are on and take it with you to see your GP / Specialist and toask their advice about how best to manage these type of side effects. I’ve experienced the same side effects on Prostap and I know that they can be really horrible, so I’d recommend having a chat to your GP / Specialist as soon as you can as they may be able to help alleviate them quickly so you don’t have to keep feeling like this for too long.

Hope you feel better soon, x X x
