HV encephalitis

I posted on here a few days ago

I just wanted to ask about mom who got HV encephalitis over 2 years ago

After my mom came out of hospital we saw some improvements

However over the last few weeks she not been great.

She been sleeping most of the days and her behaviour has recently changed she doesn’t seem to be interested in talking to anyone

A few months ago she struggled to eat due issue with food tasting either too salty or sweet. And a burning feeling on her tongue

She has had various infections since getting encephalitis.

The doctors don’t seem to be able to pinpoint what is going on with my mom.

These symptoms are pretty typical of Enc. - dealing with them is a combination of medication, exercise, diet, talking therapy etc.. It's not easy and could be impossible. If she has given up .....
