Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and happy Friday!

Monday 22nd February was World Encephalitis Day! I'd love to hear if you wore something red, posted on social media about it, or enjoyed seeing what was going on around the world to help raise awareness of Encephalitis!

In Ireland - Some famous buildings were illuminated RED4WED!

I'd love to hear what you guys got up to!

Oh yes I really did enjoy my first World Encephalitis Day ever! I helped to light up the Liver Buildings in Liverpool and the Wallasey Town Hall on The Wirral . Eventually I did wear a red T-shirt, maroon skirt and maroon cardigan and posted it on Twitter. It was good fun! It took most of the day up though having to keep up with all new notifications coming through so quick! I had to break off for things like meals drinks etc but I did miss some during these break times. I'm in Merseyside England.

Hey Paula-38!

Wow, that's incredible! Well done to you!

It sounds like it was such a busy day but you handled it well - Something I'm still getting used to - Still learning my limits energy-wise post-encephalitis!

Massive congrats again :)

Thank you so much Ocean96! 🙂

Hi there! I spent my WED in Canada, where my shirt didn't quite come on time 😅I did have one from a previous year however, and wore that. I posted some of my photos here, showing the bridge that I got lit up red:

Neat photo you posted - loved seeing how much activity there was to mark the occasion
