Had labs in December. Creatinine was down. Phosphorous and potassium were in range. That hasn't happened in a long time. GFR was also improved. So yes it is helping!

My kidney issues are just st the start of awareness. Kidney function was low, had ultrasound, showed swollen kidney...not draining. Sent to kidney doctor, trace of blood in urine, had a sizeable kidney stone. It passed on its own. I didn’t know it. Had same day surgery scheduled. Stone was gone, but doctor examined kidney. He put in a stint to help it drain better. So for now a lot of reading, healthy eating, definite exercise and at least 100 oz. of water a day.
