what helped my two dyslexic children. They are now in their teens and doing very well.

I have two children both dyslexic and we struggled initially with school work, organisation, coordination, and class work like copying work from the board to paper. My son was 8 when he was diagnosed, i got no help at school for him. In my plight i came across the dore programme that worked wonders for his coordination and confidence and now at 15 he is doing very well overal. My daughter is showing similar progress.

of course parents patience and positive support is most vital.

The Dore Programme helped my dyslexic/dyspraxic son a lot too.

I was considering the Dore programme for my son- he's 10 very bright, chronically dyslexic reading age is 4yrs behind. His coordination is absolutely fine which is great- he's fantastic at sport + art. I've tried to find parents of children to chat with who's children have been through the Dore project that arnt also dyspraxic, as everyone I've spoken with Dore has helped massively with dyspraxia which in turn has helped with dyslexia. Did both your teenagers struggle with coordination too? Great to hear they are doing so well :-)
