How are you treating your disease? Are you getting any outside help. A therapist? AA people? Clergy?

Have you had a physical check up recently? It may not be associated with drinking or not drinking. Do you suffer from anxiety? Could it be that? I think your doctor will know best.

I don’t have experience with shaking six years sober. But I go for treatment for alcoholism (and separate treatment for my anxiety). The only time I get shakes is if my anxiety is acting up or my diet needs adjustment.

I hope you get it worked out. Did the shaking stop after you posted?

Please do some research on Thiamine. It is depleted by alcohol and can contribute to the unwanted side effects of drinking too much alcohol over a long period. There are some good youtube video's on youtube, Try Dr Berg.
