So tired it's Friday!!: Any ideas on how... - Different Strokes
So tired it's Friday!!
It's okay. Breathe.
Try to rest a little bit each day, nap when you can, don't stress about things that really don't matter.
Delegate things to others, including those in your family. Try to figure out a plan for your home routine. Who is able to do what and put this into action.
Accept that things do not have to be done exactly as you would do them but that others can help you keep things functioning adequately allowing you more relaxed times so you won't stress as much.
Yes, things have changed but they don't have to be made to seem "life threatening".
I hope this helps. May your family understand that you need their help and support, that you can't do what you could before because you get over-whelmed more easily now and need to be more rested for the pertinent things that "do matter". 🤔Cindy in NJ
I tried changing my medications, sleep schedules, diet/vitamins, more coffee... until I just realized that trying to fight it would wear me out even more, either physically, mentally , emotionally or all three. I know it's hard, but try to give yourself a break. It sounds like you're doing more than most people who haven't had a stroke. Take care.
