Very expensive

Hi can anyone let me know why dialysis is so expensive in Jamaica. I have been advised that one treatment will cost approximately £400???????

It costs £350 - £400 per session in the UK, so not too dissimilar. Unless you are comparing it with NHS which costs around £182.

So if I looked at the conversion chart right...I just said Jamaican dollars 400 would be 3.20 US dollars. Can u tell me how to look this up. I'm interested cause in the US each session can be up to 5000$ depending on insurance.

Ok I checked again and 400 pounds in Jamaica is 542$ in US
