Which blood glucose monitoring device do you use (if any?)

Any recommendations? Any to avoid? Many thanks

I prefer the AccuCheck Performa Nano because the lancer is really painless, it also gives very quick readings. The only problem I have with all meters it the fact that most of them are black and comes in a black bag. Do you know how easy it disappears in the abyss that is my handbag?

The medical aids usually pushes for the "CareSense" kit. I find that there are at time no strips available anywhere. That is the reason I changed to Bayer Contour ... if you get the monitoring device you can contact their head office and they will post you (free of charge) a program that works with your computer and glucose monitor. Sinply plug into your computer and downloads all the information in printable form. Really works great!!
