When are we going to get medicines invented for cure of my diabetes.? 3 yrs, 4 yrs,5 yrs or never ? .
I don't know, but I expect that within 5 years diabetes would be as curable as T.B.
Diabetes is controllable and not completely eradicable because research for its cure is in progress. I want to know when this progress culminates in completion.

There is research is going on in UK for curing the Diabetes using BCG by Dr Faustman Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. They have got positive result in Phase I trial on mouse.
Read Dr. Cecil Bright's reply. Is is not curable for the years to come, but manageable . Perhaps stem cell research undergoing in this may provide an answer, but that is not in our time.
Can anybody predict results and time frame of any research ? So I think it is better to keep your fingers crossed.
