Indiacratus it is learnt from sources that PIOGILITAZONE and ROSOGLITAZGONE tablets were banned and so much drugs were returned from medicalshops But after 3 months fresh medicines of PIOGILITAZONE and combination of this drug were found in market

Why this drug is banned and again released to market. If medicine is fault or anyother reason

Further this medicine now may be used ornot Now most of the Doctors not recomonded this . This is i confirmed from medical stores

HoweverI am used this medicines before 1 and 1/2 years back now I am used only glimepride 1 and metformin only

Indiacratus, pioglitazone was indeed banned in India in June but again the ban was lifted after 1 1/2 months.,but with a warning. Every thing a bit controversial. Urinery bladder carcinoma and heart failure two major side effects.

It is expected that this drug should not be over used and only the third line of treatment.

I don't think this warrants further discussion . Let us leave it to treating physician to decide.

So Good and inteligent Doctor prescribed only single medicine most of cases

Natraj, with all its related adverse effects, it is a an effective drug. Most importantly is very cost effective, given to the fact that other oral hypoglycemics and insulin are pretty costly. So, if you take into consideration the per capita income of majority, its importance becomes obvious .
