Any one know about insulin tablets?

I read sometime back that a break through was achieved on this.Problem is,insulin gets digested like any other food item when taken orally.The scientists have developed a coating that keeps the insulin intact until it reaches the blood stream.Human trials may take some time and we may have to wait for some more time to receive any positive results.
