Role of Niacin,B3,in lowering triglycerides and LDL and in what doses.Can any one throw some light ?

I vouch for this. I could tame my tryglecerides from 147 to just 54 in six months of LCHF - no drug regime. But my total cholesterol and LDL refuse to behave. Last test was in November. Today I will get the results for the last three months.
