Its a study of trying out a single injection of a large assembly of insulin molecules (supramolecule insulin assembly) yielding promising on animal, the traditional method of treating Type I diabetes with multiple injections of insulin every day to maintain the normal glucose level can possibly be done away with in 2010.

Unpublished data from studies on animals with Type II diabetes showed that the supramolecule was able to maintain normal glucose level for 30 days when higher doses were used.

This is an exciting research. However, the drug system has been tested only on rats and there is a long way to go before it benefits patients.

So I think commercial production is yet to start like blood sugar strips @ Rs.5.

It is a bogus Institute where all staff have been kicked out or replaced and everybody is new here and nobody knows anything. I have checked up and got this information

It is a government of India unit , so no one is kicked out. everyone retires in a time bound manner & with promotions for doing nothing for 35 years of career .

Dear Mr.Burma,

You should refrain from such bogus publicity if there is some concrete let the Institute put up the test report as there is no registration of this Institute.

But you have been suggesting everybody to have low carb & high fat diet for sugar management. Imagine what it can do to people having cardiovascular issues, including cholesterol, BP who are already on statins & BP medicines etc.

No. This postulate of yours is meaningless as earlier neither were the terms couch potatoes, sedentary & lazy. These days people just get what they want even online without moving, including groceries, vegetables and meat. Earlier, even for a blade of grass one has to walk and for a kill had to hunt for hours for the next meal. You now see the difference. Have you ever come across someone who is doing hard labour on a daily basis and suffering from any of these lifestyle diseases?

Mr Burma should have visited the institute before writing on this forum.

And if he is not reachable in Delhi, he should have mentioned or request that any one residing in Delhi should check up with the institute for their claim.

Not what you're looking for?
