I think you are definitely prone to diabetes. One good thing is you are aware of the problem and what aggravates it.Heavy meals and skipping exercise definitely increases the blood sugar levels. Most significant development in your diabetes management is your significant weight reduction. You can call yourself a non-diabetic only as long as you control your sugar levels well within acceptable levels by moderate food habits, regular exercise and maintaining weight levels.Since you are well aware of all these facts about diabetes, never relax.Keep the diabetes away, forever.

PL. Go for brisk walking preferably in Tread mill in a jim for 25 to 40 minutes at possible speed and burn calories- 150 to 350. After a month you may start strength training to develop LEAN muscles which will consistently burn the fuel. Practice healthy diet ( May follow that of Shooter George) all the time watching the quantity , be less than the energy you spend. Practice not to take any thing for three hours in between food. Do not join this community by starting Allopathy which is the HELL maintained by elder brother if yamraj. I did not hear the doctor suggestion . At least you hear the experience and stay healthy. Best wishes

Type 2 diabetes can be controlled by diet and exercise in early stages. As the production of insulin decreases later, you have to take anti-diabetic pills or insulin to control your blood sugar.
