Sometimes, truth, kills. Unpleasant truth any body can hide. If there is enough LIBIDO, go check for a sperm count test, meet a doctor, show the report, if he says okay you can have babies, go ahead. Tell the girl, or not tell does not make any difference, only thing never intensionally cheat any body, so put a word like.

In my college days, once I checked, BS I remember, I had 210 after Break fast. Then I forgot about that. I married.Had kids. I have never checked BS. Just few years back in 2000 my Fam.Doc told Yep you have BS. 1972-2010 I lived w/o any complications. Hard work, walking, travelling, sweating, hard working job always, I was in. I did not like sitting for more than 1 hr. Then I start walking around. I traveled and traveled. Now there is no traveling. So I suffer. Body movments are limited, I feel so ugly..

Sitting Jobers Should Play some sports likes tennis,Ft.Ball, Brisk Morning/Evening Walks etc. Hard working people Live long, I mean Manual, Laborers. Then who will do Sitting Job? For them some activities like walking, running etc. is suitable. Swimming, Cycling etc. Also is very helpful.

Did she ask you??? If no one aksed you then you are not lying, you are just holding the truth. But if her or her family asked then you should disclose. Think like a lawyer. For God sake it's not aids. My mom is 84 and taking insulin still alive. Diabetes skips generation sometime and so many people are not even aware that they are diabetic, This data is from North America, you can imagin how many in India are undiagnosed. I don't know what your age is but majority of the population start to have problems after 35/40 and they were all considered perfect before that age, future is uncertain for anyone's health or wealth. If your spouse is wise and educated she should know the realty of life. I know in arranged marriages everything needs to be perfect but here is one example, A relative of mine came to India to marry, and her husband went for his medical and found he had cancer. I guess age was around 25. Within 6 months he died leaving his widow behind. This does not end here. This girl put herself together after 2 yrs or so and came back to India to marry again, 10 days after the marriage, while on their way to collect the movies and wedding albems they had a car accident. She had some minor injuries and her 10 days husband had serious injuries and died after few months. This girl came back to India twice within two to three yrs to marry and attend funerals. They were not diabetics, there are million things which can kill, diabetes can be managed. Don't feel bad that you are diabetic but feel good that you know that you are and can do something about it while there are so many people who are not even aware that they are diabetic. I know so many who go the doctor and get pills and next result comes normal and think they say they are fine now and stop meds and stop seeing the doctor. I always ask which miracle pill did you take?

Data from the 2011 National Diabetes Fact Sheet (released Jan. 26, 2011)

Total prevalence of diabetes

Total: 25.8 million children and adults in the United States—8.3% of the population—have diabetes.

Diagnosed: 18.8 million people

Undiagnosed: 7.0 million people

Prediabetes: 79 million people*

Sorry for the long msg and I know exactly where you are coming from, because someone told me once that in India people ask when they arrange marriages about family's medical history. Alas!

This is a complete myth. Just think of did you any one known to you either taken or granted leave from his regular assignments for the cause of three diseases (ailments) - Asthma, BP or Diabetes or combination thereof. I have always been reiterating that these ailments are not diseases but deficiency. In India we have 22 languages and more than 1000 dialects. Do you or any body deny travel to abroad for they do not know chinese, german, thai or else. Hence nothing or no activity is affected for the three mentioned ailments. But you need to control them lest you are losing one sort of immunity. The object of marriage is never to produce children but for developing citizens. That is why irrespective of religion, region, caste, creed and what not the concept of marriage is prevalent so also there are bachelors. In Islamic and Christian rituals there is an agreement between a male and female to commit to duties and obligations post marriage. In Hindu rituals it is the promise to resort same thing "DHARMECHA, MANASA, KAMECHA, VAACHA - NAATHI CHARAMI" that goes to mean "In doing justice, having intentions, desires, speaking I will not cross the limits."
