MrSunil,The sugar level given by you is marginal but once you are identified as a diabet it is better to follow the doctor'sadvice hereafter. You can try to prolong without medicine by strict diet and exercise for many years.I am 70 and I started taking med after 5yrs of diagonise at the age of 42.Now started insulin as the tablets are not effective. My friend who passed away at the age of 81 had been taking insulin for 50yrs and more.ok.Any diab patient following the doctorsadvice can see his life time extended beyond than an normal man of course with the trouble of all the consequences which is quite inevitable.ok

No direct carbo intake e.g no rice no sugar or sugar made items and weight training and cardio exercise. Pl b advised u can't activate ur pan creas if u r a diabetic tHat means ur sugar level will be range bound. U can't the idealistic figures of 80-140

Remember diabetic condition is blessing in disguise if u can control ur tongue, u will enjoy ur life and once a way check up is must. All the best

Yeah, Mr. Palani muthu

This is not a problem at all. Reduce sugar intake. Controle tea coffee and sweet consumption. And walk and run whenever you get time. Immovable life makes people diabetic.

is tea and coffee is really harmful? I read on some website that coffee is beneficial if taken without sugar. I used to take 2-3 cup coffee/tea daily. Should I leave completely or can taken in moderate amount? however I am switching to green tea..

some times diabetes skips a generation, may be one of your grandparents had it. Diabetes is more common in ppl from asian decent. I guess over the years our ancestors cosuming so much carbs. Look at daal roti or daal chaval that's eating grain with grain. If we go back to cavemen what did they eat.........hunted for meat, walked miles and they had other problems but they had lean muscles. It's the result of what we put into our bodies and our genes. I'm diabetic since I was 33 and my mom and my two siblings are diabetic as well.

Actually eating pattern in families are inherited ...i am not sure about genetic factor....so you find many people of same family having diabetes ...In my wife's family people hardly have diabetes...but in my family tree there are many people with diabetes....we have tradition of eating more sweets at any occasion with less physical labor

First solution ...get married asap , so you can have someone to take care at home:):) Jokes apart... If you have gym in your office, just exercise regularly in evening and stay away from carbs...You are still young ...your pancreas can recover easily...just follow diet and physical activity religiously for 3-4 years...If eating in office...take less chaptis , more daal and curry , curd etc and remember in outside curries , raita etc they add little amount of sugar to make curry tasty....monitor your bs regularily and tune your daily menu according to that

Keep cheese, curd , nuts and soya chunks, beans handy at home...sprouting beans is easy ...take sprouted beans, egs, curd , cheese etc in breakfast ...easy to prepare

Last advice is to always remain optimistic to cure any problem with life or body and laugh out loudly...it really reduces the muscle tension in body:):) try it...its free:) :)

Using of Alopathic Medicine Eventhough it gives temperorary relief but in the long run It will certainly harm yur boady and attract many deceases. .yu may ascertain this fact from other experts.. Still yu have not stated where yu r saying so that some other alternate Ayrveda medicine can be suggested which reduces b/s level. if yu r keen to follw

You have not mentioned whether these levels are fasting or random samples. Sometimes it is advisable to go for a recheck before reaching a conclusion. However age is of little significance these days. Your family history may be more important. What is your body weight,? How thirsty you feel? Do you feel hungry all the time and go on eating unchecked. How many times do you go to pass urine in the night? Tell all this to your Doctor and leave it to him to decide.
