Hi Dear madhumehi,

Thank you for the interest. Long Wheat Mash is not a medicine; it is a home made diet. I feel there is nothing much to understand in it. Now a days I do not communicate through e-mail with members of this forum (healthunlocked.com) because it will be useful to utmost one individual only, unless he or she is a medical practitioner!

I have explained it in very simple English (I do not know Kannada) in my public article on the web. Clicking the links below will take you directly to the concerned sections where LWMDR & preparation of Long Wheat Mash are described. Please read those two sections and then we will discuss; I will do my best to explain more, if at all you need.

Dear sir,

I am sritharan aged 63 yrs presently in USA. I have type 2 diabetic since 2007 and taking medicines for the same. I have gone through ur detailed report. you have done lot of research on this type 2 diabetics. Regarding this kothumai kanchi ( Tamil meaning) how much qty and frequency to be taken. what is ur recommendation for the noon meals apart from breakfast and dinner which you have given in your analysis. Kindly reply.

regards,

P.Sritharan

Hi Mr sritharan,

I am 64 so can address you by name :-) . I had it during 2006-2009. Breakfast & supper is sufficient but i do not think there will be any harm if taken at noon also. Noon is exempted for patients to enjoy their preferred food at least once daily; one should be able to enjoy also you see. Breakfast & lunch are chosen to make it equi-spaced. That is about frequency.

Regarding qty, first cut is STOMACH FULL. To make it finer, one gram of dry whole-grain per kilogram of body weight; take more if required - not less.

Equally important is avoiding sweets, fruits, starchy vegetables, liquor. Moderate fat/oil intake.

If I have not answered you completely, please come up again. Even if I have answered also, you are welcome to come up again.

If you follow oosi kothumai kanchi please keep me informed as frequently as possible.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

dear sir,

My father is a diabetic since 30 years, and have several members in my family with diabetes. I am likely to get it too. I will be working on having them follow this diet. With your permission and help, I will like to make a step wise guide and information blog for everyone, since I will be doing the ground work anyways. I want to do this because there is so much information in this portal, but it is very fragmented. I will organize, index and add material from my own research.

How can I interact with you if I need help?

regards,

Zeus
