Music therapy is very good for keeping the tesion away,but this therapy is also used for healing &consoleing patiens suffering from incurable diseases.

for diabetics control food we have restrict, avoid taking of rice,sugarcontent of any items,maida etc instead use pulses, ragi inany form.weat in any form,raw & leafy vegitables in plenty,salds 1/3 portion 0f food.you have to be strict vegitarian. regular excercise,yoga,pranayama,0r brisk walking etc is very essential. some herbal method is also available for controlling diabetics is available(Naturopathy way of life ) those who r keen yo follow this method may contact by email to me.(sgnresmi@gmail.com ).I am a regular practioner of VIPASSANA MEDITATION & follower of Naturopathy way of life. Music therapy may be effective and It depends on the type of music you listen. Calm, quiet,soothing.melodious music helps pacify your feelings and reduce your tension and take you to a world where peace , only peace, exists. It has been understood that blood sugar levels in human body might shoot up due to stress and strain ie: mental tension. If Music therapy helps to reduce tension it is advisable.
