I am diabetic for last 6 years. My PP level has now increased to 410. Pls suggest me what to do to bring the level below 200?

despite of food control and mild exercise, if you are experiencing high blood sugar level, I suggest consult doctor for prescribing you taking insulin shots. I am on insulin, believe me I am healthier than before.

Management of sugar levels is a tough job but is not impossible if you realize that the task is essentially in your own hands. The doctor or dietician may guide you but ultimately it is you who has to put into practice all that has been learnt. Diet control makes maximum difference in a diabetic condition. Avoid sugar,sweets,and any food that is loaded with sugars like mango,banana etc. Also avoid vegetables like potato,beet,sweet potato etc that grow underground. Eat more of sprouts,vegetables and greens that give you fiber,minerals and vitamins. Eat less of rice,wheat and other cereals rich in carbohydrates and demand more insulin for converting to energy. The idea should be to reduce consumption of at least 200 to 300 calories per day to gain significant results.

After diet,exercise plays a very important role. Walking or jogging for 40 to 60 minutes a day will improve your glucose metabolism significantly and spend about 200 calories.

Last but not the least one should lead a stress free life style. Stress is a recognized trigger for diabetes. Practice relaxation techniques like pranayama,yogasanas etc.

Ultimately the most important person in your diabetes management is Y O U.

Hidden has exposed much on the subject. it is a patient disease, diabetes is for the people , to the people and by the people.

it is more of hunger management. practice upavasa,(simple starving on Gods name) weekly atleast twice,skipping atleast break fast on any bodys name.(only then the life partners will agree and b happy).

understand the disease (learn human anatomy ,metabolism) , diet (lchf and calories) complications (all pathys such as retino, neuro etc) , control methods like, exercise, medication( which will take care atleast 60% of the problems).

lastly ,most imprtant,pls do not neglect medication.it is like a maze, so many doctors, so may medicines,oral, insulin, herbal, homeo, ayurvedic, unani, aval . pls wade through all this and select suitable system which gives result for your body condition and life style, you will live a pain free, and comfortable life with few after effects of diabetic complications.
