how meany maximum unit of insulin i have taken during 24 hours i am taking 90 unit every day it is harmful to us or not. please give view.

Please keep track of your kidney,liver function tests and albumin creatine levels.Any medication taken for long duration may lead to some variations.By periodic tasting you can take corrective measures if needed.

I take 25 units of Huminsulin 50/50 before breakfast and 30 units before dinner. The sugar status is 120 on fasting and 180 couple of hours after breakfast. I am 74 years old and is diabetic for the last 24 years. Any comments ? By the way my Doctor has advised me to try and bring down the dosage gradually. By the way i consume one Vobose.3 by evening for the last few months.

How did you become diabetic ?

Any pancreatic damage or. If yes what % is working ?

Intake of of insulin depends on your weight also and can go upto your weight. i.e. 90 Kg-90 units.

I am diabetic from 1998 and i am taking insulin from 2003 now I am feeling our insulin label is day to day increasing so please suggest me to reduce insulin label

i am in my 64 age and taking insulin in the last 42 years . i am a juvenile diabetic and used to take the insulin with out braking except 2 days .now i am using 70/30 human mixtard 16 units in the morning and 16 units in the evening before dinner. in addition to it i used to take acrapid insulin , if the dosage is in sufficient , and never wait for it for the next day .i never allow to continue with high sugar. i used to walk 7 kms daily morning at 5'o clock , with in 1 hour . recently i am suffering hypertension and colesterol and taking medicins for it with out break there is no other complains like renal and diabetic retinaopathy. the insulin depend diabetic should have well aware of the medicins they are taking and their complaints.

now best treatment of type 2 diabetes is Ayurveda or insulin dependency. I am like trying for beater result by Ayurveda is it possible or not if yes then give your best suggestion in this position ( weight 80 Kgs L=167 CM am taking 45 unit HM 50:50 morning and 40 unit HM at night total unit of insulin taking 85-90 unit daily)
