I am 72 on insulin. If the feet show blackish ness, does it indicate any problem ? I keep my feet high on pillows while sleeping.

The blood circulation of your feet appears to have been reduced. Visit to your Diabetologist & ask him to give you medicines. . Do not take lightly and visit to Doctor is must.
Yes it indicates diabetic neuropathy. Soon it can affect kidney, retina or heart. BUT DO NOT WORRY. TAKE PROPER STEPS & BRING DOWN THE BLOOD SUGAR TO NORMAL VALUES & MAINTAIN THERE. ALSO...
TAKING MEDICINES ALONE WILL NOT BRING DOWN BLOOD SUGAR ALWAYS. YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR FOOD HABITS & LIFE STYLE ALSO.
