Thank you Vittalanand. You are partially right. My replies have actually two parts. Initially replies had only one par. Later on finding that most of the patients are almost IGNORANT about DIABETES, decided to make replies in two parts. One SPECIFIC to the question and the other one in general to ALL persons whom I answer. This part is cut&paste because its one & the same.

First one or two paras form the specific part. Now on I will do one thing. I shall demarcate the two parts by separators.

Mere avoiding sugar is not the solution to control diabetes. This is because every thing you eat are converted as sugar(glucose) by your system.Locate a diabetelogist in your area and consult him for medications. As for your last question is the answer will be LIFE long on drugs and monitoring carefully.
