Doc says its nothing as I have very ticklish feet and over sensitive. Am overweight, type 2, on lots of different meds but sightly active with two teenage children and a lust for life !!

Neuropathy possibly. Very common with T2. My feet can drive me mad if my blood glucose is raised. My feet felt a bit odd at first but now they feel like @ cross between itchy on soles and painful pins and needles. I have been awake most of the night, had a stressful few days so blood glucose too high. I do have pregabalin prescribed but refused an increase due to weight issues.
Ask GP the diabetic nurse rather than GP.
