hello folks…… hoping to get a reply to this question….. every now and again I go through a period of time wherebye I get severe jabbing pain in the ball of my foot underneath my ankle…. for want of a better description, it’s like someone jabbing a very big needle into the ball of my foot…. Otherwise I have had no feelings in my feet for about 10 years….. but I can feel this!

thank you

Don.

Hi Don, It sounds like Plantair facilitis. Not sure that's the exact spelling, but I believe it's a type of neuropathy that's very painful. On the other hand, it could just be one of those things and it will pass.

I suffer a lot of foot pain, I have gotten myself some diabetic socks, they seem to help a lot, I suffer mostly at night in bed, it often wakes me up, I got my first pair from a firm called functional aid for £20, they took ages to arrive, they claim to be a uk company but the socks came fro china, and their website say returns are to China, I just got another pair off EBay they came in same packaging but only cost £4 they are called adult compression socks, they might help you.
