Hello everyone, my lower right wisdom tooth is constantly infected and now appear to be growing out the side of my gum and into my cheek.
My dentist says it will get better as the tooth protrudes more but I don’t believe him because it’s been getting worse over around 6 months and it’s became extremely painful but he still refuses to escalate it. I’ve seen 2 different dentists now and they are not doing anything about it.
Does anyone have any advice for me?? Thanks

Listen to your dentist, wisdom teeth aren’t the same as other teeth and can take a while to come through. It is very painful I know, I was in agony myself all through my 21st birthday weekend.
If you do have an infection you will have been given antibiotics, so just keep on top of your painkillers and as soon as the tooth is through the gum it will feel better. Gums harden as you get older which makes it more difficult than when you were a baby for teeth to be cut. Hang in there and it will get better. xx
