Lump on lower gum?

Hello! My first post here. I’m currently struggling to get an appointment with my dentist (understand the pandemic etc) however, I have a lump now formed on my gum, doesn’t hurt isn’t getting any bigger but it’s where I was due a root canal on one of my lower teeth. It came over night and has been there for around three weeks now. I’ve had a few abscess in past and it’s not like them. Any idea?

Hi.

It could still be an abscess. Especially as it’s at the location of the root canal to be done. Not all of them present the same all the time. But i would be on at the dentist to get you an appointment ASAP because if it is an abscess it shouldn’t be left too long. Even if you have no pain.

Hi,

I had the same, it started with tooth pain, and could not get into a dentist, so went private and is a result from an abscess deep near the root,

Root canal being done tomorrow
