Hi, last day when my son was playing football with his friends, he slipped off to the ground and broke his teeth. As his gums were bleeding, his friends took him to an emergency dentist in Toronto ( dentalcaretoronto.com/emerg... ). After detail examination, they placed a temporary filling and send him back along with some painkillers. He was not able to talk because the temporary filling was making him uncomfortable. He took the painkillers and slept. In the morning he was totally comfortable. Is it necessary to remove this temporary filling and place permanent one? Once the pain is over can we replace with permanent filling? Is the permanent filling cause discomfort? Can we do this procedure in one visit? Is this permanent filling expensive? For taking this permanent filling is it necessary to remove the whole teeth replace with the filling?

How about getting him an appointment at your dentist who will answer all these questions for you? I’m not being funny but people on here are not necessarily medically or dentally qualified (although I am, so that’s why I’m not answering your questions 😉). So they will all guess the answers.
Did you go to a dentist?
