Any advice on a single upper front denture please?

One of my upper front two teeth was so very loose for months due to age and gum disease that I went and had it taken out yesterday. I did not think it would bother me to have a gap there so did not ask about a denture. However, today the swelling has gone, and I have always had a natural toothy smile so would like to know if I could have a single front upper tooth denture.

I don't think I would be suitable for a bridge as most of my gums have receded due to gum disease, so does anyone else here have a single front denture and how do you get on with them? Or are there any dentists or dental assistants that could give me some advice please?

Many thanks.

J
