Moving forward

I wish you all I’m very happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.

Well, finally a date has been set for my financial settlement on the 7th of February 2024, it has taken a long time and a lot of stress, but at least finally I have one set date. My solicitor has told me that it will take another eight months after the first court hearing to complete my financial settlement.

I am still suffering from post traumatic shock syndrome and also brain injuries my tremors are much worse. I think it’s just distressing because of everything that has happened to me.

I’m still waiting for the Crown prosecution service to decide to prosecute him,

I have sent a letter to our Queen Camilla, as she is the ambassador for abuse women. It’s early to get a response, but I hope that she will send me some good news., I also included the last lot of photographs of my black and blue body.

My speech is the same. My psychologist Charlott is amazing and is helping me so much. It’s amazing learning to speak again with this foreign language, but I am going to have to embrace it because it’s what I have foreign accent syndrome.. it’s different, Shelly only knows this voice, and she loves me just the same

I have found a wonderful church and the people are amazing and have accepted me for me. They did not know me before so they can only speak to me and me to them with my new voice, I truly feel accepted and loved by them all, the minister Sue is a wonderful person and I am so fortunate to have found a place of worship.

Again, I’ll send you all my love and just say to you all there is light of the end of a long tunnel.

That's so wonderful that you have found a Church community that supports you , it makes such a difference knowing you 'belong'.
