When I was diagnosed withCBGD in 2005, I went for a second opinion to Maryland...Dr. Weimer was the "top" in the movement disorders field. It took him a very short time to tell me that I had Parkinsons and "not" CGBD.
He will be "greatly" missed.

Is this about Dr. Weiner, chief of neurology and head of the movement disorders clinic at the Univ of MD in Baltimore? I went to him -- for a 2nd opinion. Sad to hear.
Oh...I was very lucky to be his patient since 2007 till he passed away...Actually I still go there and had my DBS surgery in the Univ of MD....I miss him terribly..he was an absolute sweetheart of a person and so down to earth.
You are truely "fortunate"...I went to Dr. Weimer for a second opinion, but could not continue because my insurance is only "local" ( I live in another state)....just meeting him "once"..you could tell he was the "tops" in the field and a "down to earth" person.
