The good outweighs the bad - I strongly recommend it! Tonyxx

I go every 4-6 months. depending on how I am doing! Works great! Had mine since 2006! Had battery and an updated model of the stimulator put in this year! Well worth it for me!

Blessings,

Carol

I had surgery in June. I've seen doctor for adjustments in July, August, September. Each time the electricity was increased and meds were changed slightly. Next appointment in Dec. it appears my settings are working well. My friend Hank, reminds me his battery cables are in his car if I ever need a jump start!

At first I was going to the doctor much more frequently (Every 2 to 4 weeks) as they worked to get my stims dialed in perfectly, now maybe once every 6 months or so.

The best answer for you specifically, would be avialable from your neruologist and your neurosurgeon.
